We have used various examples of goodwins principles such as matching lyrics to visuals. In our research we found an artist called Corrine Bailey Rae this showed that our style of song and music, of which is very similar to hers generally are advertised in the same way and the star image motif is the artisit themself. Our house colours are also very similar to Corrine Bailey Rae's which are also natural and earth colours such as browns, reds, oranges and subtle yellows.
Being a narrative based music video we had to be careful not to make it look like a short film. So like other narrative based music videos we have seen our 'story' is not in order. This also meant we could use fast cut montage and jump cuts effectively to jump back and forwared to different parts of the story.
